We have been providing a rental service to our customers for a decade.
We provide Australians with the opportunity to try new equipment in the comfort of their own home that would otherwise be inaccessible or unheard of, and inspiring customers to try new products that they come to love.

The Beginning

Rewind Rentals was founded in 1996 as a small, local video rental store in Newcastle by a team of three postgraduates from the University of Newcastle, Australia, and quickly became a hit amongst locals wanting to rent movies.
The store remained a very profitable for the entirety of its operations, but it wasn't until 2006 that the first major expansion took place.

Rewind Rentals Today

Rewind Rentals expanded to providing locals with the opportunity of renting their own Home Entertainment equipment and videos for the community to enjoy, alongside our own vast catalogue, providing customers with the widest range of devices now than ever before.
